SBS GROUP INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION (VIP)

READ BEFORE POSTING YOUR REQUEST TO JOIN A GROUP!

Sisters- just want to let you know that you do not have to wait for Tracy or Alana to add you to the list--we do this manually, it is NOT automatic. If there's room (read through comments to this post and compare), you are in this group (if not, you'll be added to the next group). We will add your name to the list as time allows. Thanks so much & WELCOME TO THE SISTERHOOD! Enjoy your new group of gf's!

*First, each sister will leave a comment on this post WITH your full blog URL, first name (and initial of your last name, or use a nickname if you prefer)*. We'll post the master list here and keep it updated.

*Second, create a new post on your blog entitled "Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers-(your group's #)." Write a little getting-to-know you fact to introduce yourself.

*Third, add everyone to your Sisterhood-(group #) blog roll (in your sidebar is a good place). Don't forget to get your badges for SBS (use your group's #)!

*Fourth, when you've got everyone added to your blog roll, go visit each sister and leave a comment. You're "official" once you are listed here on the master list and put your info on your blog, and you're nearly official if there's still room. Happy inky blogging!

If your want your friends in your group, email them a link and get them to join with you before this group fills up! 20 is the limit! (So before you add everyone to your blogroll, read comments and compare to list to make sure the group isn't full--just in case we haven't had time to update the master list. TIA.)

P.S. We're looking for a Group Admin to organize RAKs and such for your group. Just say your interested in your comment. To make life simple, once your selected...you will notice GROUP ADMIN beside your name. If anyone has questions getting their group started please feel free to contact Tracy. Thanks!

*Don't forget to add your blog URL with the "http://" included (it saves me time copying and pasting your URLs)! If your blog address is missing from your comment, I will just wait on you to post it. I don't have time to find them for myself. Sorry.

Welcome to the Sisterhood!

With the response to my plea on SCS about finding a stamping and blogging buddy, we're going to need more than just a thread. So welcome to the Sisterhood. We want every one to be part of a sisterhood. If you didn't make it into the original group, join group 2! And if that fills up, we'll make a group 3! Each group consists of 30 blogging stampers. (The truth is that 20 might be more manageable for you to visit on a weekly basis. If I receive feedback to cap a group at a lower number, I'll do it...and on to the next group.)

Our mission is to create a sisterhood where we can share our triumphs and craft disasters. Somewhere we can go to get inspired by a friend. Somewhere we can go to unwind and get to know each other better. Many of us don't have friends or family close by that love to stamp, and we're looking to share our creations with someone who will appreciate them. We want to feel a little less alone and anonymous in the grand world of stamping.

If you're thinking that this sisterhood is just what you've been looking for, find an open SBS group, and leave a comment with your name (as you want it displayed) and your blog URL. With each new group formed, I'm looking for a Sister to help manage the group. If you already have a group of stampers and want to join together, let me know. I'll get the badges made.

Let's set a goal to visit all of the sisters in your group once a week, leave feedback and praise, and try to post at least one card or project on our own blogs per week.

Glad to have you in the Sisterhood!

Inky hugs,
Alana

Hi, Alana! I just joined Group 5. Wow, just wanted to thank you for coming up with such a cool concept and executing it in such a cool way! =)

It's not easy to find a stamping buddy when everyone around me is busy scrapbooking. So your site just helped me make not only new stamping friends, but sisters! Thanks again! =)

this would be a GREAT post to re-post at the top for everyone in the sisterhood groups to read. Keeping these core ideas in mind can really help a group to keep each other going. Blessings~ GinaP (SBS1)
